Oil Changes

Your engine needs the proper amount and quality of oil to run smoothly. Without oil, your engine will fail, which will result in expensive repairs. A good rule of thumb is to check your oil monthly and go in for an oil change at a minimum of every 6 months or every 2000 miles—whichever comes first.

Tire Rotation, Alignment & Replacement

As a general rule, the original tires on a new vehicle or quality replacement tires should last up to 50,000 miles. However, many factors will have a significant impact on any tire’s life and may substantially shorten its life expectancy. If you have any concerns about your tires’ functionality and safety, stop into any of the Bob Moore Auto Group service centers to have them inspected by a factory trained specialist.

Check Engine Diagnostics

The check engine light comes on when your vehicle’s computer detects a problem regarding your car’s emission’s control system. The check engine light is different from the maintenance or service light. But either way, it’s a good idea to have your vehicle inspected quickly to keep your car running safely and smoothly.

Emissions Service

Car motors naturally emit gases as they run, including carbon dioxide and nitrogen. In order to keep you and your passengers safe—and protect the environment from harmful gases—it’s important to reduce your car’s emissions as much as possible. Emissions servicing may also extend the life of your vehicle.

Windshield Wipers

It is not uncommon for windshield wipers to wear down or break over time. You can inspect them regularly and replace them as needed to maintain proper visibility during rain or snowstorms.

Car Batteries

The battery provides electrical power that is responsible for starting your vehicle. Battery tests and service can show the current function of your battery, as well as ensure proper alternator operation. Battery tests include terminal and cable inspection and corrosion prevention.

Fluid Check

Fluid can refer to power steering fluid, your engine’s oil, brake fluid, coolant, or transmission fluid. All of these fluids need to be kept at the proper level for your vehicle to run smoothly.

There are multiple components that make up the brake system, and they all need to be in good shape to give you proper stopping power. It is recommended to regularly check your brake pads and pay attention to signs of brake damage like brake noises or unusual vibrations while braking.
